I’m Eir’s Initiate, or I think I am, anyway. You’d have to ask Her to be certain, though I feel the pull of Idun as well. They can fight over me, if They want. *grin* Otherwise there’s enough of me to share, though I’m not exactly sure why either would want me, I’ll not question the whims of the Gods.
I like lots of things, like apple orchards and beeswax candles, hot herbal tea and crisp overcast autumn days. I love symphonic soundtracks and wind and the prairie and moon and stars on quiet nights. I’m a huge bibliophile and I’ve read almost all the books I own. I’m a bit of a foodie, and I’m an okay cook. I’m very much in love with a boy who lives far away (and who is perfect for me, we fit so nicely together, both in personality and otherwise), but I’m hoping to remedy that soon. I adore music and singing and my beautiful violin. Dancing the waltz or spinning to a schottis is one of the most lovely, meditation-inducing things I’ve ever done. I write almost as much as I read.
I’m a dreamer with my head in the clouds and my feet firmly and pragmatically on the ground. That’s why I think that even though I’m a typical Aquarius, and an intellectual air sign at that, I’m drawn to the earth and green growing things.
I’m 23, a woman, and though I believe in a very mild form of kitchen and garden witchery, and I sort of believe in the Norse Gods, I mainly focus on living my life as best I can, without all the trappings that most Pagans call their own.
I also believe that when it comes to magick, age gives credibility and that while herbs have their uses, combining them together into oils to annoit colored candles with will not bring you love or money. I believe that there are nasty things out there, but that they have up until this point left me alone, which has given me a very blessed existence. However, that doesn’t stop me from learning wards or being cautious about just whom I tell about my dubious faith. *wry grin* Here’s my theory: live your life as best you know how, loving and learning freely along the way, giving often, not taking too much, and you’ll get along just fine.
Hello!
I found your site while looking for blueberry tea. Can you tell me where you buy your tea.
Thanks,
danny

Hi, Danny!
Not quite the question I’ve come to expect on my blog, but fun nonetheless.
My blueberry tea is a Bigelow herb tea. It’s not straight blueberries (it has hibiscus, rose hips, and chamomile as the first three ingredients), but it’s not blueberry flavored black tea either.
I got it as party of a tea gift set, but apparently it’s available retail as “Blueberry Harvest.”
Hope that helps. It’s very yummy!

I was on line trying to find the “right” words to explain why I’ve decided to call my Holistic Therapy Centre “Idun’s Orchard”.
This is a lovely site and has given me some inspiration.
Thanks
Thrin xx
